[Frequently asked questions………]
- Q: Can I download the High Res images to my phone? A: You could probably if you have enough space on your phone’s storage, but usually the images are too large to download to your phone, you need to download them to a computer/laptop or provide a USB for me to save the images for you.
- Q: What are High Resolution images? A: High resolution images are essentially files that contain the utmost image size, guaranteeing that they can be printed with remarkable quality when needed in the future.
- Q: What about posting images on social media? A: Within the online gallery you download, there’s an additional folder containing WEB-sized images. These are specifically optimized for various uses, including social media posts and similar platforms.
- Q: Can you send me the photos via WhatsApp? A: Certainly, I can use WhatsApp to share the images with you. However, it’s important to note that the images sent via WhatsApp won’t retain their High Resolution quality suitable for printing, as WhatsApp tends to compress images, making them less suitable for items like canvases.
- HR [high resolution] vs Resized for social media downloads:
As I’m going through your downloaded galleries, I find myself reflecting on a question that has intrigued me: why opt for “Resized for Social Media” files only, when the option of “High-Resolution Printing Quality” images awaits? We wish to delve into this choice and its significance, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the value it brings to your cherished moments.
We understand the convenience of sharing images quickly on social media, but we encourage you to consider the long-term value of high-resolution images. Whether it’s a family portrait, a cake smash, or any cherished moment, these images will forever remind you of the emotions and beauty of that day.
Just as you’ve invested in professional photography to capture these precious moments, investing in high-resolution images honours the effort put into creating those images. This investment ensures your photographs are presented at their best, reflecting the artistry and expertise that went into capturing them.
High-resolution images provide flexibility when it comes to printing. Whether you desire a small frame for your desk or a larger canvas to adorn your wall, these images deliver unparalleled sharpness and vibrancy in any size.
When downloading your images, we recommend selecting both versions – the “Resized for Social Media” files for easy sharing and the “High-Resolution Printing Quality” images for preserving the magic of your moments in exquisite detail.
Understanding the Difference:
The terms “Resized for Social Media” and “High-Resolution Printing Quality” refer to two distinct versions of your photographs, each serving a specific purpose.
1. Resized for social media: These images are optimized for sharing on social media platforms, websites, and digital displays. They are compressed to reduce file size, making them easy to upload and share quickly. However, due to compression, these images may lack some fine details and may not look their best when printed in larger sizes.
2. High-Resolution Printing Quality: These images boast the highest level of detail and clarity. They are designed for physical prints, ensuring that every nuance, colour tone, and intricate detail is faithfully reproduced. These images have a larger file size, capturing the essence of the moment in stunning detail and ensuring the best possible outcome when creating prints of various sizes.
