“I make time stand still – what’s your superpower?”
I’m a photographer with a fervent belief in capturing today’s generation, so those images may live on to be appreciated for generations to come.
One day I had a client’s 3-year -old daughter ask her to be in a photo with her, the mom immediately started protesting with …..”I’m too fat”……The little girl looked at her and said: “Mommy, I just want you to be in a photo with me.”
Do you regret today not having THAT photo?
If you could get into a time machine today to take one photo. What would that photo be? Would it be one where you were younger and with less wrinkles and bumps, your children when they were little, a photo with your mother baking her favourite cookies or on your grandfather’s lap?
Do you look back and realize that your children don’t have any photos with you?
Psychologists have studied the effect of having family photographs displayed in the home and found that those children with photographs displayed in the home, grew up with greater confidence and a sense of belonging than those who did not. They had stronger feelings of value and a better understanding of where they came from. I grew up in a family that loves photos and my Grandmother and photographer mom helped to create that love and appreciation of photography that has developed into a profession that I love today.
I would love to create the special images of the people you love. Let me use my superpower to capture a treasured moment in time for your family.
I’m a lifestyle, children and wedding photographer based in Middelburg. I serve the Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Limpopo area, though not limited to these, I love to travel!
